With a strong commitment to excellence in education, we have been providing quality learning experiences to students through our chain of Shivalik Public Schools for over three decades. Our education policy and vision are reflected in our efforts to provide modern education using the latest techniques and methodologies.

We firmly believe that education should help in developing an integrated personality and instilling human values in students, enabling them to grow into responsible citizens. Teaching is a noble profession, and a teacher holds the responsibility of shaping the nation’s future by guiding and directing its youth.

In the field of education, the teacher is the most important factor influencing success, reform, and progress. The teacher plays a pivotal role in the teaching-learning process, and the quality of education depends largely on their competence and dedication. Traditionally, teachers have enjoyed a position of great respect as friends, philosophers, and guides. Through the teaching-learning process, society preserves its culture, schools fulfill their objectives, and students prepare for life. It has rightly been said, “The destiny of India is now being shaped in her classrooms.” Well-trained teachers are not only effective communicators of knowledge and skills but also sources of inspiration and transformation.

The quality of teaching is a key determinant of student learning. It depends on the quality of individuals entering the teaching profession, their initial training, their on-going professional development, and the environment in which they work.

At Shivalik Institute of Education and Research, we aim to nurture teachers who bring creativity, flexibility, and innovation to the classroom.
